FGHMS is a Nonprofit Corporation with approved IRS internal revenue code (IRC) Section 501 (c) 3 status committed to building a modern museum and preserving the historically significant artifacts from Fort Gordon's museum when it goes away in 2021.Our Mission:To Save our Story by preserving the substantial historical contributions to the nation, educate our citizens, and prepare the future generations of Americans to serve the nation, their states, and local communities.Our Vision:To Support our Story by establishing a State-of-the-Art virtual and live museum that preserves the history of the Signal Regiment and other organizations on Fort Gordon to capture the ingenuity and stories of those who served, educate the current generation, and prepare future generations for service to their nation.
