The company’s principals have owned and operated lodging properties since 1977, when they bought their first property, a 22-room roadside motel in Marlin, TX. Like any great story, the team at NewcrestImage has battled difficult odds, including weathering the global financial crisis that began in 2008. Within four years, through unity, nimbleness, and creativity, the principals had successfully navigated the worst of the recession and opened an intense pipeline of new projects. In early 2013, NewcrestImage was formed through the merger of the principals’ prior companies — Newcrest Management and Image Hospitality — by harnessing the unique synergy between development and management.
