Shine Engineering, P.A. was founded in 2000.  The firms principal is John M. Shine, P.E. graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology.  We are a consulting engineering firm, in private practice, responsible for the design of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems. The firm provides contract engineering services for construction of institutional, office, and industrial buildings, shopping centers, churches, hospitals, and apartment complexes. Shine Engineering is one of the leading engineering companies in LEED/Green design.  The firm is in the process of completing its fifth LEED Platinum building and has made a commitment to introducing Green/ Energy Efficient Design in all its design. Beginning at the conceptual design phase, Shines engineers develop cost-effective solutions and maintain close contact with the design professionals to ensure a coordinated design effort.  This eliminates costly change orders during the construction phase, and contributes greatly to a construction project that is completed on time and within budget. The company is supported by a unique blend of highly educated professionals, including accredited members of NFPA, ASHRAE, ASME, and IEEE, as well as technicians who have extensive practical experience.  The staff is construction oriented and takes pride in the fact that their designs are buildable.  The staff continues to enhance its performance by pursuing education advancement, participating in industry seminars, and attending professional society meetings and technical report committees.
