First Chambers of Commerce Established for Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela in the U.S. at Andean American Associations - New York, NY, US
The Colombian, Ecuadorean, Peruvian and Venezuelan American Associations were the first chambers of commerce established in this country dedicated to the promotion of investment, trade and cultural exchange between these nations and the U.S. The Associations are private, non-profit organizations supported by member companies and individuals. Each is a separate New York corporation with its own Board of Directors. Founded in the 1920s and 1930s, the Associations have hosted events during which our members have had the opportunity to exchange views with prominent public and private-sector leaders shaping the future of the region. Our recent speakers have included heads of state, ministers of economy & finance, ministers of energy & mines, diplomats and ambassadors, and prestigious private sector leaders.
