Welcome to the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems (SCiiS) in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Johannesburg. Located in Africa's economic centre - Johannesburg, the School combines the three knowledge hubs of Applied Information Systems, Information and Knowledge Management and Marketing and Retail Management to form a pan-African epicentre of critical intellectual enquiry in the areas of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems. The unique combination of the three knowledge fields in the School, allows for the offering of unique educational programmes and impactful research that is fit to serve a continuously evolving South African and International business, technology and academic environment. The School is also home to the Technopreneurship Centre, an ideation and innovation hub where students, researchers and industry collaborate to come up with tech solutions that disrupt the market-place and help address social-economic challenges.
