The roots of Bertone Design sink in more than a century ago when in 1912 , in Turin , Giovanni Bertone opened a workshop for repair and construction of coaches. Then, under the direction of his son Nuccio, Bertone became a visionary company known in the world, famous for some milestones in car design as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint in 1953 , the Lamborghini Miura in 1966 , the Stratos Zero in 1970 , Lamborghini Countach in 1971. Today , collecting the historical heritage of the brand , it is the architect Aldo Cingolani that heads the new course of Bertone Design , bringing his long experience with Giugiaro Design to investigate new areas of industrial and social design . In the Head Office in Milan it breathes again the air of the great workshop of ideas and know-how of Italian creativity .
