World's Biggest Garage Sale is tackling this issue through the activation of dormant goods for good using circular economy practices that create employment opportunities for disadvantaged Australians whilst saving goods from landfill.Our mission is to activate dormant goods for good as a way to make purposeful profit that creates a positive impact on people and the planet. By empowering Australians to reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose, World's Biggest Garage Sale helps people to see the beauty in reloved or ‘second life' goods.We aim to make circular practices the social norm through leading the circular economy. We have pioneered a number of circular economy events and initiatives within Australia. World's Biggest Garage Sale runs Australia's first circular economy precinct. In 2019, we hosted Australia's first circular economy popup store in the heart of Brisbane city's most popular shopping district.
