Mary's Shelter is a multifaceted housing and social service agency serving homeless expectant young women and homeless youth between the ages of 14 and 17. Our caring and homelike facility provides the homeless young people with a safe and stable living environment while they work toward independence. The program has a three tier focus to health and wellness which provides the solid foundation for young people to grow and thrive: physical and mental health care, education and job readiness, future safe and stable housing. The Community Out-reach Program assists low-income families with material needs, counseling and referrals in an effort to prevent homelessness. We are currently serving over 985 families each year through our Mom & Baby Pantry (expectant mothers and children under the age of 1) and the Diaper Bank Pantry (families with children ages 1 to 4). Supplies for the Community Out-reach programs come from the generosity of individuals, businesses and congregations who collect new and gently used items for Mary's Shelter.
