My Streets is a social enterprise that provides a paid platform to people affected by homelessness to tell their story.We run in house training programmes focused on confidence, presentation, storytelling, research and tour guiding skills tailored to the individual needs of trainees. Training graduates have the opportunity of earning €40 per hour to deliver acerbically witty and honest tours of Drogheda / Dublin.My Streets has trained 55 people affected by homelessness to date and provided some of the most interesting tours you are ever likely to experience to over 12,000 customers. We understand social enterprise as a way of empowering individual participants. We understand tourism as a platform to tell stories and change narratives.
