The firm takes on a selective number of jobs yearly to ensure personal attention and adequate resources are dedicated to each project and client. The Practice has built up a varied portfolio of mixed developments in Singapore, China, and the region. They include private housing, commercial and institutional buildings, hotels and resorts, as well as urban design and masterplanning for townships. The company has completed major projects such as the Pullman Resort in Sanya, China, which was awarded Landmark Hotel Status by CIA), the IBP Office Park in Singapore, as well as various housing and mixed-use projects ranging in size from single family dwelling to large townships. New Space has received SS ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2008 in recognition of Quality management for Architectural Practice, and ISO14001:2004 certification in 2012 for its commitment to environmental responsibility. Since its inception in 2003, the firm has won numerous awards, such as the President's Design Award in 2015, Bloomberg Asia Property Awards (Best Office Building), the Platinum CONQUAS Award for Shelford Suites in Singapore, the Assisi Hospice project in Singapore. It was also shortlisted in the World Architecture Festival in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
