Changing Minds is a volunteer led youth and community development non profit NGO. Our primary focus is addressing youth mental health from the ground up. We empower the community to discover, develop and implement clinically informed approaches that address the issue from a preventative and early intervention perspective. Our community-focused and directed mentoring, training, community engagement and consultation processes influence the achievement of the best possible outcomes for all young people, especially those experiencing or at risk of developing mental health & wellbeing issues. We work at the community level to support individual grassroots "operatives", collectives, social enterprise and community organisations to understand, develop and implement non-clinical (yet clinically informed) preventative and early intervention initiatives and approaches, complementing the clinical/medical sector.
