NWE Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd The Company was originally founded in 1989 by Wouter Engelbrecht. He retired as Chairman of Wouter Engelbrecht (Pty) Ltd in 2001 to operate as developer. The original firm's name was changed the same year. Wouter Engelbrecht re-entered the consulting engineering industry again in the beginning of 2004 and the Company was registered as Nkuthalo Wouter Engelbrecht (Pty) Ltd with a 51% equity held by black engineers. In October 2010 the company was renamed to NWE Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd. The Company operates in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as project management and property development. The Company strives to achieve excellence in all the services which it provides, and to provide meticulous attention to detail whether the project is large or small. It is an independent company with no obligations to, or ties with any commercial concern, which could influence the professional judgement, recommendations or decisions given by the Company. The Company has a proud track record to date. Since its original establishment in 1989, not a single claim has been lodged against the firm.
