Air Salvage International (ASI) is a globally respected provider of professional asset management services to banks, lessors, and commercial airlines. With experience of 800+ projects worldwide, its disassembly and recovery services have been at the forefront for over 24 years and have contributed to developing Best Management Practices set by the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) used throughout the industry today. Projects are carried out in compliance with strict Government regulations, including the Environment Agency and are fully audited and accredited by AFRA. The company has also held ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Systems Management) accreditations since 2004 and 2007 respectively. Furthermore, in August 2017, ASI successfully migrated to the latest (2015) version of the ISO Standards.ASI has undertaken projects across the globe over the last 24 years, including Togo, New Zealand, Dubai, Sudan, Ecuador, USA, Libya, Maldives and Cairo. The airport's 2,009 metre runway and ample parking ensures the acceptance of the full range of commercial narrow and wide-bodied aircraft for storage or disassembly, including the Airbus A340-600. Airfield security is paramount to the airport, and Air Salvage International works closely with them protecting the daily operation of the aerodrome.
