Justice Film Festival is the premier showcase for films that shine a light on social justice and affirm the dignity of all people. Since 2013, JFF has been dedicated to creating a platform for redemptive stories of marginalized people and ecosystems bravely overcoming challenges and bringing hope, compassion, and light to a world in need of inspiration. For our 2021 event we have doubled down on our mission by celebrating diverse voices, amplifying stories from underserved communities, and bearing witness to injustice worldwide with films focused on racial & environmental justice, poverty, trafficking, equality for women, healthcare, education and justice for immigrants & refugees. The 9th annual Justice Film Festival presented by Docs/ology returns to The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture in New York City November 10-13, 2021. This year we are planning a hybrid event with both in person and online screenings. This four-day experience will consist of over 30 selected features and shorts including world premiere screenings, content from studios and emerging filmmakers, as well as "Behind The Lens" talkback sessions with filmmakers from around the world.
