Architecture studio based in Barcelona, founded in 2008 by the architect and engineer Francesc Buixeda.Bxd arquitectura is characterized by rigor in its entire design process:from conceptual design to its materialization, looking for a timeless architecture and paying special attention to the constructive solution.Bxd arquitectura offers a client oriented design process in order to ensure a quality customized product.The bxd architectural practice is led by the architects Francesc Buixeda and María Barcina.Francesc Buixeda graduated as an architect form the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) and Technical Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). After collaborating in his professional beginnings with Idom ACXT and Juan Trias de Bes, he founded the bxd arquitectura studio in 2008.María Barcina graduated architectural studies from the Escuela Tècnica Superior de Arquitectura (UPC) Barcelona. With an experience of more than 20 years in international and multidisciplinary architectural projects. Specialized in large scale projects in the hotel and residential field. Since 2008, she has joined her work as an architect with teaching at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) as a professor of architectural design.Currently Bxd arquitectura has a solid team of architects with extensive experience in the development of projects and the construction management services. The most advanced tools for the development of projects such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) are used in order to ensure the quality of the project from its conception to its execution.
