Faculty of Maths and Physical Sciences (MAPS), The School of Food Science & Nutrition specialises in the fields of Food Colloids & Processing, Food Chemistry & Biochemistry and Nutrition & Epidemiology. All of our academic team members participate in both research and teaching, meaning that the Students are taught about the very latest developments. We also invite experts from industry and government to talk. The School maintains a strong research culture based on the application of fundamental scientific principles to addressing issues of food quality of ongoing concern to consumers, government and industry.
