United Way of North Central Iowa's mission is Helping People, Changing Lives, and Building Community. We will focus our work on the basic building blocks of a good life: Education, Income and Health. In Education is the great opportunity to level the playing field - no matter the circumstances to whcih you are born - If you are able to get an education you will be able to earn a decent living. Our goal in Income is to obtain the skills to get the job that earns enough money to support a family, save for the future and build assets. And finally, without Health - well quite frankly what else matters?
