At My Proud Baby we believe that it is important for babies to see themselves represented in the world around them. Thats why we make products that feature stylish, modern, one-of-a-kind, afrocentric designs to make proud babies stand out. We believe that it is important to celebrate the heritage and culture surrounding minority babies and bring to the forefront the things that make families unique. It is important for babies to see and recognize positive representation of themselves in their immediate surrounds, from brith. This is why all of our products feature black characters, of all shades, as well as modern cultural patterns and imagery. We want to be apart of the process that helps guid young children to a life of self awareness and confidence. Our products are mostly baby blankets that feature our patterns and designs. Our online network also includes a parenting blog and facebook group where parents of black children can meet other parents to share tips and engage in progressive conversation.
