He started out helping his father with the work, but was quickly recruited by additional customers. He's run his own business almost the entire time. Foss has the expertise to work on a wide variety of houses, including small city homes, townhouses and condominiums, and multi-million dollar mansions. He graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 1992 with a degree in construction management and a minor in both accounting and computer science.
