Mission: Provide affordable, short-term, culture- and trauma-informed mental health counseling and wellness programming to underrepresented individuals and communities, supporting and facilitating their overall growth. Vision: Through the power of culturally- and trauma-informed mental health care, underrepresented North Carolina residents will experience better overall health and wellness.Our "WHY" is to be present and engaged with underrepresented populations so that they have a more equitable opportunity for overall growth and wellness. We will provide one-on-one mental health counseling with a licensed professional counselor who will meet with a client for short term counseling (until client goals are met or 8-12 sessions), or provide an appropriate referral. Post one-on-one therapy, we will provide 8-12 group sessions, followed by 8-12 personal coaching sessions. In addition, we partner with local community agencies and organizations whose mission is to support and provide in-person and tele-mental health services and programming for underrepresented populations through a collaborative approach. Qualifying individuals may come to our organization through their respective organization's current services and resources, a referral, or personal search.
