Platform for Architecture + Research is an office interested in architectural possibilities. Setup as a platform for exchange within a global context, our approach mixes keen analysis and formal experimentation into uniquely responsive designs. At present, our studio of ten is working on a variety of competitions, houses in Los Angeles and Washington, and a ranch in Uruguay. The construction of a our first private house, located in the Hollywood Hills will top out in Fall 2013. Most recently, PAR has received international recognition in exhibitions at the Buenos Aires Architecture Biennale, European Center for Architecture, ACSA 101, SCI-ARC, Keelung Harbor Tower, US National Building Museum and the NY Center for Architecture. This year PAR has been honored with awards from the AIA, Chicago Athenaeum and WAN, and featured in leading publications such as MARK, Concept, DAMDI and Future Arquitecturas.
