While mammalian cell cultures require a tedious, expensive, and risky scale-up process to get to production scale volumes, Multivate's patent pending multi-chamber single-use bioreactor allows this entire process to be almost completed in a single container. Thus, biopharmaceutical CMOs and self-manufacturers, by using our bags can eliminate independent, traditional bioreactor units and can save fixed costs of equipment purchase, qualification, and maintenance, as well as the factory footprint. The savings can be multiplied by the number of intermediates eliminated. Moreover, the simplified process can save customers variable costs each year of bag purchase and labor requirements.
