Assistant Early Education Manager at Sunrise Children's Services, Inc - Tampa, Florida, United States
Since 1953, the mission of United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay (UCP) is to guide and assist families and individuals with any disability or other barrier to achieve their full potential, resulting in community inclusion and independence. Over 125 adults with disabilities each year develop the ability to live and work in their communities through our supported living and supported employment program. Over 400 families each year are served with Respite Care. Families can go out for a weekend, knowing that their family member with special needs is in good hands. UCP has an eighteen year history of providing in-home services for the community. Over 600 children with disabilities each year start along their path to yet undiscovered abilities through our therapy program, early intervention services, and early childhood education programs. Over 900 expectant mothers each year discover their ability to be wonderful parents even before their child is born through prenatal education, labor delivery/support, and postpartum follow-up though our Doula program. UCP serves a six-county area including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando and Polk. We provide services in the home, on the job site, in community-based child care centers, at the Henry Avenue Center and in southern Hillsborough County.
