There's something for everyone here, and we want you to experience it all.Founded in 1955, the mpls downtown council (mdc) is a membership-based entity that works to create an extraordinary downtown. mdc works in collaboration with approximately 440 current members, including businesses of all sizes. Our organization is built on leadership, collaboration, advocacy and innovation. mdc and its membership work toward achieving the goals of the Intersections: The Downtown 2025 Plan in hopes of building an even better downtown mpls for tomorrow. These goals include doubling downtown's residential population, transforming Nicollet into a must-see destination, creating and sustaining a green infrastructure and showcasing the riverfront, leading the nation in transportation options, advocacy for building U.S. Bank Stadium, ending street homelessness and more. We are creating an extraordinary downtown.
