The Center for Social Impact Strategy is a research and action center based in the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice. The Center equips, trains and connects a thriving community of social innovators committed to making lasting social impact. We exist to create a thriving global community of the best social innovators who show up for one another and contribute to the the growth and success of the whole. Our core values are establish intention, build community, cultivate empathy, build creative confidence, listen in, be different, and make it happen, learn together and dream big. The Center offers programming in the following areas: 1) Online Learning: Free online courses and eight-month training programs for professionals looking to make a greater impact. Programs include MOOCs on Coursera & the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy, a world class accessible program for people who want to impact the world. 2) Residential Experiences: Weeklong immersive retreats for innovators searching for community and tools to scale their organizations. Programs include Penn-Columbia Social Impact House, Global Social Impact House, Creative Community Fellows Program & Penn Impact Lab. 3) Global Network: Supporting a community of changemakers collaborating and learning together to make a collective impact. Programs include partnerships with leading organizations and an online community of support. 4) Research & Ideas: An academic hub for the most powerful ideas at the frontier of social impact research. Programs include: Doctoral Fellows Program, Comparative Research and publications on social entrepreneurship.
