The Danié Made in Sicily brand was born as a tribute to Sicily. Each rigorously handmade creation is inspired by the island, bringing back its eccentric, fascinating, strong character, capturing and enhancing those nuances that make our land so special. The iconic object of the brand is the Sicilian coffa, in the past used by farmers as a basket or container for transporting animal fodder or agricultural tools and today transformed into a luxury bag for a determined and kaleidoscopic woman. The Danié Made in Sicily coffa is created using the curina, the most tender part of the Sicilian dwarf palm, and then embellished with fabrics and materials typical of Trinacria, the ceramics of Caltagirone, for example, lace, trimmings, mirrors, raffia, tassels and castanets. The spring / summer 2022 collection sees the arrival of a new accessory, the panaro, another symbol of the island's memory, which Danié Made in Sicily dresses with waste fabrics, because everything is reinvented and acquires new life thanks to creativity.
