MedicEvac was founded in 2015 by a group of ICU- and ER nurses with a lot of experience in medical repatriations on commercial flights.Our aim is to provide a qualitative and cost efficient service for travel insurance companies with clients in medical need in foreign countries. We hire only ICU- and ER nurses not only because of the medical knowledge but also because they are more used to work proactively and to anticipate and react proper on new situations or problems that can occur during a repatriation. Our selection procedure is based on looking for this proactive talented nurses and doctors. The second skill we need is comfort and care. For the medical department we work with Doctors specialised in emergency, intensive care or anesthetics because of the same reason.Our medical staff flies all over the world to bring back patients to their homeland. They keep in touch with the travel assistance to bring updates on the program of the repatriation or to bring more news about the status of the patient.Bringing back a patient on a commercial flight is cost effective and more comfortable than an air ambulance. Our staff can perfectly handle wheelchair steps, wheelchair carry or stretcher patients.We are capable of bringing back the patients in a swift, qualitative and dependable way and bring them from a hospital to a hospital in their home country or just escort them home. Because of our vast network we have the possibility to assign the right nurse or doctor for the right pathology.
