Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is a Constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). Therefore DUCE is very proud to be part of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). The College is located in Chang'ombe area, adjacent to the Tanzania Main National Stadium, Temeke district, 5 kilometres from Dar es Salaam City Centre. The establishment of the College was in response to the expansion of primary education through the Primary Education Development Programme (PEDP) and secondary school education through the Secondary Education Development Programme (SEDP). The College's vision is to become a leading centre of excellence in innovation education, research and public service in the region. The mission is to provide integrated high quality teaching, research and consultancy services, and the motto is "Quality Education for All".
