The Erarta project is dedicated to promoting contemporary Russian art both domestically and on the international stage. It is the biggest global project of its kind and consists of four principal parts: Erarta Museum Erarta Galleries Erarta Design Erarta Fund Erarta Museum -- Based in St. Petersburg, Erarta is the largest private museum of contemporary art in Russia with over 2300 works by more than 150 artists from over 20 regions of Russia in its collection. The museum also hosts special programmes aimed at popularising contemporary art and often involve visitors in the creative process. These include annual events such as "Showcase yourself at Erarta", "Cross-Art" festival and the "E-Motion Pictures" festival of short films. Erarta Galleries -- Established in New York, London, Zurich, St Petersburg and opening in Hong Kong in 2014, the galleries offer clients the opportunity to buy contemporary Russian art. The galleries aim to introduce contemporary Russian artists to the global art market as well as to discover and support emerging new talents. Proceeds of sales in the commercial galleries enable Erarta to financially support living artists. Erarta Design -- Offering interior design solutions to corporate clients and private individuals. Erarta can create custom solutions using original works of art and/or print, giclee or wall-art reproductions manufactured by Erarta Workshop for offices, hotels and restaurants as well as private residences and public places. Erarta Fund -- Erarta does not aim to extract profits, rather, any profit acquired is reinvested back into the project and goes towards supporting and promoting contemporary Russian art. A non-profit organisation, Erarta Fund, headquartered in St. Petersburg, has been especially established for these purposes. The fund also deals with and develops sponsorship and partnership programmes.
