Museum Plus Bus is een samenwerkingsproject van veertien musea en rijdt sinds 2008 groepen ouderen naar musea voor een verzorgde museale dag uit. De Museum Plus Bus rijdt dankzij de deelnemers van partner VriendenLoterij De deelnemende musea zijn: Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst, De Museumfabriek, Drents Museum, Fries Museum, Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Hermitage Amsterdam, Het Noordbrabants Museum, Joods Historisch Museum, Kröller-Müller Museum, Nederlands Openluchtmuseum, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Zeeuws Museum en het Zuiderzeemuseum.Museum Plus Bus is a collaborative project between fourteen Dutch museums established ten years ago to offer groups of (vulnerable) elderly people a cultural day out. The bus drives daily on highways through the Low Country as a door-to-door service, making possible a well-cared museum visit and an inspiring tour between Van Goghs, Rembrandts and other significant historical paintings and museum objects.This unique and widely valued project is made possible by more the participants of founding partner VriendenLoterij, the national cultural lottery of the Netherlands.Participating museums: Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst, De Museumfabriek, Drents Museum, Fries Museum, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, Hermitage Amsterdam, Het Noordbrabants Museum, Joods Historisch Museum, Kröller-Müller Museum, Nederlands Openluchtmuseum, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Zeeuws Museum and the Zuiderzeemuseum.
