Every day, right across Australia, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides vital health services to people living, working and travelling in rural and remote areas.Our dedicated team of professionals are committed to providing first class health services to people in regional areas; becoming part of the communities we serve and providing peace of mind to those who without the RFDS, would not receive the medical attention they need.Whether it's an emergency rescue hundreds of kilometres away from the nearest help, or visit to a RFDS GP Clinic, our team is on hand to deliver the finest care 24 hours a day.In Western Australia we provide services across an area of 2.5 million square kilometres – transferring, on average, 25 patients each day. In this past year we treated over 30,000 patients at nearly 2,200 primary health care clinics and received nearly 38,000 calls for assistance.
