At Blue Farm we make Burgundian Grand Cru style Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines with rigorous site selection, precision farming and traditional winemaking. Blue Farm began in 2001 with the planting of seven acres of Pinot Noir on Anne Moller-Racke's small farm in Carneros. She designed the vineyard to produce one complete wine, blended from four clones. Kenneth Juhasz, a critically acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay winemaker, has helped make the wine since 2003. Anne also assisted Tim Mott with planting and farming 1861, his small vineyard perched on a rocky hillside above the town of Sonoma. Tim and Anne subsequently became friends and then business partners, bringing Kenneth in to help launch their expansion of Blue Farm. Our mission is to farm unique sites in Sonoma County that yield extraordinary wines, pure and full expressions of place.
