More than five decades on, SwanCare has become one of Western Australia's leading providers of retirement and aged care services.A not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, SwanCare administers WA's largest single-site retirement and aged care community at Bentley Park, as well as its sister site at Australind Rise.Bentley Park covers 15 hectares and is home to approximately 1,000 residents residing in either retirement villas and apartments, or one of three residential care facilities.Administered by a Board of Directors whose members are all volunteers drawn from leadership positions in the Western Australian corporate and community sectors, SwanCare employs a dedicated workforce of more than 350 staff who support the specialist qualifications and broad experience of the management team.A comprehensive strategic plan is currently guiding the organisation towards a major transformation with $80 million in developments to service an ever-growing aged care and retirement need.
