Psychologist & Director at Lighthouse Child and Adolescent Psychology - Sydney, NSW, AU
Lighthouse Child and Adolescent Psychology is a client-focused clinical psychology practice dedicated to providing expert care and advice in a warm, family-friendly environment. Jane originally trained as an educator, earning a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education. Her time in the classroom has given her a unique insight into the issues that children and adolescents face in an educational setting. She then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Masters in Psychology (Clinical). Along with this academic study, Jane has also gained practical knowledge and life experience through the last 20 years parenting her own children. The combination of these elements is rare to find in a clinician working in private practice. Jane believes in a holistic approach to care, working with children, adolescents, parents, teachers and carers. She has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of young people's behavioural and emotional problems. Jane provides this treatment in a warm family-friendly environment that puts the child or adolescent at the centre of her approach. Her objective is to support young people and their families through targeted evidence-based treatment using empathy and experience to help children, adolescents and their families overcome the many challenges they may face.
