Director, Education and Community Engagement and Managing Director of Communications
UNAVCO supports scientists, educators, and society through tools that make precise measurements of the Earth's surface to help us understand how the Earth works. The techniques of geodesy enable scientists to track the motion of tectonic plates, the effects of earthquakes, trends in glacial ice, the status of water resources, atmospheric conditions, and a great deal more. UNAVCO operates the Geodetic Facility for the Advancement of Geoscience (GAGE), providing geodetic infrastructure, data services, and education and community engagement support for the National Science Foundation, NASA, and community research projects.
