The Ashgrove Cheese factory is located at Elizabeth Town, in the heart of the dairying and cropping region in Northern Tasmania. The business is a Tasmanian family owned business, which produces premium quality and award winning milk, cheese, butter and cream.The initial cheese factory was built by Ashgrove Farms in 1994 and in 2011 a new factory was built, doubling the capacity of the milk processing plant and the cheese packing operations. The majority of our milk comes from Ashgrove Farms where it is delivered directly from the dairy to the factory. We are proud of the many awards we have received for our premium cheddar style cheeses over the years. A year after completion of the new factory in 2012, we were awarded best Farm Light Milk at the Dairy Industry Association of Australia awards. Since 2010, our premium quality milk, cheese and butter has been recognised with - 3 Grand Champion, 26 Gold, 90 Silver and 15 other awards. Our products can be purchased on site at the Ashgrove Farm Store, at specialty food stores, major retailers and supermarkets throughout Australia - a complete list is available on our website - www.ashgrovecheese.com.au.
