Founded in 1890, Ship's Equipment Centre Groningen (SEC) designs, engineers and manufactures deck equipment of the highest quality. SEC's TEN HORN WINCHES are available in the following formats: conventional electric, conventional hydraulic and combined electric hydraulic. From anchor and mooring winches to sophisticated towing winches and special purpose winches. All products are built to class and specific customer requirements. SEC is the original manufacturer of the innovative HHP POOL ANCHOR. Available in the range of 8 kg to 20 tons. POOL ANCHORS have a 25% weight reduction compared to conventional anchrs and all types can be delivered in fully balanced executions. To complete the deck equipment packages, SEC supplies ISO- and DIN compliant bollards, chocks, faileads and warping rollers. SEC is part of the CENTRAL INDUSTRY GROUP NV (CIG). CIG provides a wide variety of products and serives in the shipbuilding industry, concentrating on 3 areas: - Prefabriation in steel; - Design services and software development; - Ship's equipment.
