Co-Owner and Manager, Organic Tuscan Farm and Retreat Center at Podere Trafonti - Torrita di Siena, Toscana, Italy
Podere Trafonti (info@poderetrafonti.com) is an organic farm and guesthouse - an "agriturismo" in Italian - nestled in the gentle hills of the province of Siena in Tuscany. It lays between the historic towns of Montepulciano and Pienza and within an easy drive of Siena, Perugia and Florence or even Rome. The farm was abandoned in the 1960s and has come back to live thanks to the skills and creativity of Archiloop, a Florentine group of architects, many outstanding local professionals and artisans, and the loving care of Bernard Vischer and Antonella Notari Vischer, its owners. Podere Trafonti's raison d'être is to grow organic crops, mainly olives, and to host groups and guests in a serene and rejuvenating environment. The activities proposed will include yoga retreats, conscious and healthy cooking classes and much more. It boasts five double rooms in three separate buildings, a beautiful swimming pool, a studio and many generous indoor and outdoor spaces for team work, activities and relaxation. The opening of Podere Trafonti is planned for spring 2018. We look forward to welcoming you in our peaceful haven. Contact us via: info@poderetrafonti.com
