Black business owners are able to create a listing for their business for more exposure and advertise within the app, while consumers use the app to search, review, and patronize black businesses.Why?Studies show that although African Americans launch businesses at a higher rate than others, they have lower revenues, receive less funding opportunities, and are denied loans at a higher rate than other equally qualified entrepreneurs, thus making growth and scaling an uphill battle. Studies also show that the local economy in black communities are far behind our counterparts. Although a dollar circulates for 20 days and a month in Jewish and Asian communities, respectively, it circulates for only 6 hours in black communities.
