Zewa is a mission to reduce global food wastage and provide affordable, high quality feed to livestock farmers. This is achieved by cultivating Balck Soldier Fly(Hermetia illucens) Larvae and bio converting food waste into useful products such as poultry and fish feeds and fertilizer. Founded in 2020, the organization also incorporates niche technologies including Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence to optimize the process. When successfully scaled, the method will not only address the growing bio-waste concern, but also provide a great reduction in feed prices which is a major concern for livestock farmers. Apart from these direct results, as per recent UN studies, the insect cultivation process also has the promising aspects of reducing green house gases and global warming, as well as protecting high range areas from deforestation. Let's join the hands to redefine what waste can do to our planet.
