AVSI Foundation is an international non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in Italy in 1972.AVSI is involved in 255 cooperation projects in 38 countries worldwide. Its main activity areas are education and social development, urban upgrading, healthcare, labour, agriculture, food security and water, energy and environment, humanitarian emergency and migrants and refugees, reaching almost 5 million direct beneficiaries.AVSI staff implementing these activities includes around 2,120 people. A network of 2,184 volunteers in Italy is engaged in fundraising and awareness-raising activities to support AVSI.In 2020, AVSI received contributions totaling around 68.299.621 EUR, both from institutional and private donors.
