National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) has been certifying fitness trainers since 1988 and offers a foundational education and Certified Personal Trainer credential to those who seek personal fitness trainer employment. NFPT offers the certification that helps people put their passion to work - we call it ‘Passion Turned Purpose' and we see it every day in the work of our Certified Trainer Family.The NFPT organization provides an accredited certification for personal trainers who demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for personal fitness training. We are a foundational, fundamental first step when entering the profession - and we've qualified fitness enthusiasts with on-the-job certification for over 30 years. The NFPT trainer demographic is two-fold:1) 1st-time trainers, passionate people who want to make part- or full-time income in a field they love, or2) already certified trainers, people who want to demonstrate an all-encompassing knowledge with education and certification from more than one organization. (Let's face it, trainers with more than one certification are more marketable and more likely to be promoted, get a raise, and/or have the skills needed to pursue private studio training).
