Palo Alto Preparatory School is a private, non-sectarian, college preparatory high school offering small classes, individualized instruction, and a robust program of learning that takes place outside the classroom via field trips, events, and international travel. PAP students might spend their Fridays at school learning to fly planes, hiking in nature, horseback riding, learning to scuba dive, cooking, gardening, or working on art projects. They learn math and physics concepts by playing billiards or doing a skydiving simulation. They learn about art history and techniques by visiting museums. They build social skills as part of a tight-knit community that celebrates, laughs, and takes risks to learn new things together.
