Creativity is fundamental and should be accessible to all. WeXL empowers young people through mentorships that foster creativity and collaboration so that they may strengthen their resilience, independent thinking, and social capital. With a vision of an equitable world, WeXL prepares the next generation to build a more creative, connected, and compassionate society while thriving in the complexities of the future. To ensure that programs reach those who need them most, WeXL partners with organizations and schools serving historically marginalized communities. The Boundless Creators program engages participants in collaborative and creative activities that help them develop critical thinking, resilience, and social capital at a young age. Studies show that children become less creative between 8 and 10 years old as they begin to conform to societal norms; thus, this program is specifically designed for Pre-K through elementary school students.
