For these activities, the League uses money from its Education Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation (a nonprofit educational organization). Action/Advocacy: We advocate for or against public policy issues after study by its members and adoption of positions. The League may take action on governmental measures, policies and process in the public interest after study and consensus. For these activities, the League uses its own funds as nonprofit 501(c)(4) corporation (a membership organization that conducts advocacy and action).
