Admiral Capital Group is a real estate and private equity firm with over $1.4 billion of assets under management. Admiral was co-founded by David Robinson and Daniel Bassichis in 2008 with a mission of generating attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors while maximizing the community impact of each investment. The firm invests in real estate through discretionary funds co-sponsored with USAA Real Estate company, the insurance company serving the military and their families, and through separate accounts with family office, high net worth individuals and professional athletes. Admiral has been active in multifamily, office, retail and hospitality in top 25 markets across the country with a focus on value-add and core plus assets in strong job growth markets with improving supply/demand fundamentals. Additionally, Admiral has been active in private equity and venture investing, primarily through co-investments with best in class private equity investors including Kohlberg & Co. and KKR. Investments to date have included Centerplate, Academy Sports & Outdoors, LeagueApps, Krossover/Blue Star Sports and Sideline Swap. Admiral has also created a franchising platform based in Texas, currently focused on Blaze Pizza and Jimmy John's. Most recently, Admiral joined the founding team to build the Fitler Club (sports, fitness, hotel and co-working space) in Philadelphia, opening in January of 2019. Admiral continues to pursue sports and hospitality investments alongside leading institutional investors in opportunities where Admiral and the sports network and social mission can add value to the management team and support business development. Across both platforms Admiral seeks to maximize the financial and social returns of each investment and expand on the community work of Co-founder David Robinson. Admiral also launched Admiral Center in partnership with Living Cities to support athletes and other celebrities with their philanthropic endeavors.
