The IF Foundation (formerly The Luke Adams Foundation) implements and facilitates programs to shape the future of young West Australians. Established in 2011, the IF Foundation was set up by the friends and family of prominent WAFL player for Swan Districts Football Club Luke Adams after he suffered life-threatening head injuries during a night out in Perth. Led by CEO Brendan Parker, the IF Foundation operates on the premise that community violence is preventable and tackling the issue is the responsibility of the whole community. Through education, advocacy and skills development programs, the foundation partners with key stakeholders to establish culturally- sensitive and scalable solutions for the community. The Foundation is committed to the healthy and safe development of youth through quality and skill-based 'primary' prevention strategies to reduce risks and increase protective factors.
