The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark has its headquarter in Copenhagen. The Chamber was founded in 2010 with the mission to increase trade between Italy and Denmark, and to support the development of business activities for those Italian companies that are interested to move into the Danish market. Since its establishment, the Chamber has developed many structured projects always with the purpose to boost trade between the two markets and to promote the Made in Italy-brand in Scandinavia. The Association has offered different services to numerous Italian companies that were interested to approach for the first time the Scandinavian market or to consolidate their position in Northern Europe. At the same time, the Chamber has supported Danish companies interested into the Italian market, thanks to translation activities, legal and commercial assistance.In November 2013 the Chamber has been granted the full membership to the Association Assocamerestero, which represents the major network for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the whole world, and in 2015 it was fully recognized by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development. Since its constitution, over 500 Italian companies and 700 Scandinavian companies took part in the Chamber's activities in order to support and to establish new trade flows between Italy and Denmark. 90% of these companies are small or medium enterprises, and most of them are family-owned.
