information systems analyst. at Defense Systems Information Analysis Center - N/A, MD, US
The Defense Systems Information Analysis Center (DSIAC) is exploring creative new agile methods of significantly improving systems and processes for collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, disseminating, and communicating worldwide scientific and technical information to meet the current and future challenges of researchers, engineers, and program managers in the Defense research, development, and acquisition communities with the objective of having an immediate impact on the warfighter.\\The accelerating and enormously increasing volume and availability of scientific and technical information from digital media have vast implications and demand new approaches to accelerate the translation of data-to-decisions that provide rapid and accurate solutions to complex problems, save resources, reduce the acquisition timeline, and solve immediate Warfighter urgent requirements. DSIAC is implementing a wide range of controlled self-service or assisted scientific and technical information services that provide quick answers and is optimized for cost efficient reuse of existing information to eliminate duplicative activities. \\The DSIAC is strategically positioning its efforts to monitor, access, and extract global scientific and technical information to analyze trends, predict future directions, avoid technological surprise, and empower our capabilities to speedily enable new or extended military capabilities. DSIAC has assumed leadership for an enterprise that represents a cross-section of many DoD critical core competencies. In an environment of increasingly disruptive change, DSIAC has carefully engineered into its organizational foundation the agility to both respond to change and the capability to anticipate and proactively create the change needed to support Defense Sciences in this dynamically changing environment.\\Twitter: https://twitter.com/DSIAC\Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dsiac/
