Established in 1974, Ambex is dedicated to the design, supply and integration of marine electronic navigation, communications and surveillance systems with a particular emphasis on small and medium sized military craft and specialised platforms. Over the years Ambex has provided fully integrated systems to countless platforms and prides itself on its ability to draw from the best COTS resources as well as its own in-house design and integration capabilities to produce systems that meet the specific needs of complex platforms.Based in Sussex on the south coast of the UK, Ambex is well placed to support vessel projects both in the UK and abroad and is able to provide a range of consultancy services, in addition to hardware, in order to complete the most complex projects.Ambex is currently mid-way through a contract to supply and install complex integrated solutions to thirty-five new vessels for the Royal Navy.Ambex enjoys a good relationship with all relevant OEMs and is therefore able to design packages that include the most suitable components from a broad range of the market. This combined with the Company's high standards in design and documentation, including HATs and SATs, ensure that each project is delivered on time and to a high standard which is supportable throughout the vessel's life.In addition to this, we are experienced mariners and vessel operators and own two large vessels which are used for systems R&D as well as training and demonstrations. All engineers hold relevant security clearance.
